Susan received hundreds of comments from her followers wishing her a happy birthday. Show host Monica Crowley said Susan is beautiful inside and out, and then wished her a wonderful journey around the sun. “Happy Birthday Susan, your smile lights up the room,” a fan said.
More tributes poured in, praising Susan’s endearing character more than her looks, which also received praise from her supporters. “Happy birthday Susan aka Miss Kane. you created the template for daytime vixens! The original GOAT of daytime TV … we love you !!!” a second person gushed.
Susan Lucci’s thoughts on aging
Susan’s perspective on aging is that it does not define her. To the mother of two, age is just a number and people in their golden age should not consider themselves too old for fun. She credited her mother for her mindset on growing older, admitting that she called her mother for help nearly two decades ago out of fear of turning 60.
Susan has managed to maintain her looks and health with a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and proteins. She also swears by a dedicated skin care routine, which includes the basics like taking off all makeup before bed. The 78-year-old also makes sure to move around often so has to stay physically active and fit.
