AC/DC fans in Toronto lost their chance to see the band perform when severe weather damage forced the cancellation of their scheduled concert. Still, the rock legends found another way to give fans something memorable.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, at a special pop-up event, Angus Young and his bandmates unexpectedly showed up to meet fans and sign autographs. Then the encounter took a wonderfully strange turn when the guitarist appeared to autograph something few rock stars ever encounter at a signing table: a baby.

The Toronto event gave fans a chance to shop for exclusive merchandise and look at memorabilia, including one of Young’s famous schoolboy uniforms from the stage. Band members do not normally attend these pop-ups themselves, but AC/DC surprised the crowd by making an appearance and signing items for those who came out.
Video from the event captured Young apparently adding his signature to a baby, creating the sort of wonderfully odd rock-and-roll memory that probably needs photographic proof. Even more surprisingly, this was not his first baby autograph of 2026. The guitarist did something similar during AC/DC’s stop in Argentina back in March.
The Surprise Came After AC/DC Lost Its Toronto Concert
The fan event offered some consolation after AC/DC canceled its Sept. 16 show at Rogers Stadium due to storm damage at the venue. Toronto had been set to host one of the final stops on the band’s two-year Power Up tour. After the cancellation, only two dates remained: Sept. 25 at MetLife Stadium and Sept. 29 at Lincoln Financial Field.
For fans who have followed AC/DC through decades of enormous riffs, schoolboy uniforms, and unforgettable live shows, the Toronto stop certainly did not unfold as planned. Yet Angus Young still managed to create a moment people will probably talk about long after the canceled concert fades from memory. Plenty of fans own signed albums and guitars. Far fewer can grow up saying an AC/DC legend once autographed them.
