10. Freshen Up The Trash Can
Trash cans produce terrible odors, and some odor-fighting garbage bags are just as stinky. Toss a Listerine-soaked paper towel into the bottom of your bin to keep your kitchen smelling minty fresh!
11. Get rid of ticks!
Fold up a paper towel or q-tips and soak it in Listerine. Place it on top of the tick and leave it there for a few seconds. The tick should let go.
12. Apply it to bee and wasp stings.
It will help to relieve the pain and itch quickly.
13. Add a cup of Listerine to a load of laundry.
It will germs as well as clean your washing machine (use with your regular detergent).
14. Get rid of mildew and fungus from the soil of your plants.
Mix 1 parts Listerine with 3 parts water into a spray bottle. Spray the area where the plant meets the soil once a week.
15. Clean Your Humidifier
Add some Listerine to the water in your humidifier to prevent the growth of mold and mildew. Add 1-2 tablespoons of mouthwash with your water when you run it. Do this once every couple weeks to a month, when you are using your humidifier. It will disinfect and clean it.
16. Heal Bruises Faster
Dab a Listerine-soaked cotton ball onto the bruised area. It will help the blood to flow and help the bruise heal faster.
