Classic Movie Lines Performed By Sesame Street Characters
WTTW Schedule

“Ever wondered how A Streetcar Named Desire might read if Stanley Kowalski were played by . . . oh, let’s say, Cookie Monster? Wonder no more: Vanity Fair corralled the whole Sesame Street crew into delivering some of film’s most indelible quotes, and the results are nothing short of a revelation. You probably could have guessed that Elmo would make an adorable Dorothy Gale, or that Grover would bring all the enthusiasm of a young Tom Cruise to one of the best lines from Top Gun—but did you ever think that Bert might make a dashing stand-in for James Bond? It’s always the quiet ones.”

Thanks to Vanity Fair, now you get your chance…

I wonder what quotes I would have added to this whimsical list! You? Share your comments in the comment section below. And feel free to share this story too!
