The cassette, labeled “Ozzie Last Day,” was found in the attic of David Jolly, a friend of Ozzy’s, after he left Black Sabbath. It features a 12-minute jam with Ozzy on vocals, Randy Rhoads on guitar, and Bob Daisley on bass, before drummer Lee Kerslake joined to complete the lineup. Sky News was invited to hear the tape, revealing a bluesy, improvisational session that captured the band in its rawest form.

In any case, the Ozzy Osbourne rehearsal tape captures a crucial moment from the singer’s early post-Black Sabbath career.
