During the Question and Answer segment of the May 28 episode of the show, contestant Alice Welch, an epidemiologist from Queens, New York, shared an amusing yet life-changing story about how actor John Stamos inadvertently influenced her career path. She revealed that during her senior year of high school, she worked at a greeting card store when the beloved actor visited her town for a photo shoot and autograph session. Her employers refused to let her leave work to meet him, forcing her to choose between keeping her job or seizing the opportunity to see the celebrity.
