Ralph Fiennes explains how he achieved his new body
In a previous interview with The Guardian, Fiennes shared details of how he got his new look. The 62-year-old revealed that he underwent a rigorous five-month fitness regimen to achieve the ideal physique for his role as Odysseus.
He also explained that Uberto Pasolini, who directed the movie, envisioned that the ideal figure for the character should be leaner and more weathered instead of the conventional, heavily muscular appearance. With this in mind, he instructed Fiennes’ personal trainer, Don Avasilcai, to create a fitness regimen to that effect.
