After more than 50 years, the cast of Happy Days reunited in public. Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Don Most, and Anson Williams played Richie, Fonzie, Ralph, and Potsie, the four characters who made 1950s Milwaukee very interesting. The show ran for a whole decade, from 1974 to 1984; however, Howard left a few seasons early.
Even after the show had ended, their friendship never fizzled out. Just a few months ago, Howard and Winkler stood side-by-side at the 2024 Emmys on a replica of Arnold’s Drive-In, bringing back memories Happy Days fans could relate to.

The reunion happened during a panel session at Steel City Con in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In a video shared on the event’s Instagram page, Howard made a light comment about how quickly the years seemed to pass. The panel gave fans a chance to see the original cast members of Happy Days together again.
Later, in another post on the event’s page, the actors were photographed holding official certificates. These documents confirmed that the President of the Allegheny County Council had declared April 5 as Happy Days Day in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
‘Happy Days’ cast members had great things to say about the show’s creator, Garry Marshall
Of course, no celebration of Happy Days would be complete without remembering the man who made it all happen. Garry Marshall wasn’t just the creator; he was the glue that held the show together. Winkler shared how Marshall’s talent brought out the best in them.
Howard backed him up, saying that the real magic of the show came from how it grew into a team effort. Everyone mattered, and that energy made their chemistry real, both on and off screen. To them, Happy Days was more than a job; it was a journey they shared. It was a time filled with laughter, lessons, and memories that never faded, even after five decades.
