Nick and Evan have known each other since childhood when they started going to the studio with their fathers. Being the sons of rock legends, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, meant growing up around music, but neither felt pressured to follow in their fathers’ exact footsteps. Instead, they found their own voices and styles.
“You know, they both have their own bands,” Simmons told The New York Post, referring to Nick’s Sym Fera duo and Evan’s Amber Wild. He added that they never thought about getting together; they were just strumming and humming, but when they finally did, something clicked. It became clear that they had chemistry. In the video that got fans raving about them, Simmons revealed that they were sitting in Nick’s living room, Evan picked up a guitar, and they started singing. “They did The “Sound of Silence” a few times, and immediately everybody went, “What is that?”
They are currently working on an album
Fans could not stop talking about their cover of “The Sound of Silence.” They weren’t just impressed by their voices; they liked the way their harmonies blended naturally. This unexpected response led them to take their collaboration more seriously. Now, they are working on an album with a well-known producer. While Simmons didn’t reveal the producer’s name, he dropped a major hint. Nick also spoke about the album on his Instagram page. He mentioned that they just wanted to work on a song, but it snowballed into 10 songs.
