Nick and Evan have known each other since childhood when they started going to the studio with their fathers. Being the sons of rock legends, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, meant growing up around music, but neither felt pressured to follow in their fathers’ exact footsteps. Instead, they found their own voices and styles.
“You know, they both have their own bands,” Simmons told The New York Post, referring to Nick’s Sym Fera duo and Evan’s Amber Wild. He added that they never thought about getting together; they were just strumming and humming, but when they finally did, something clicked. It became clear that they had chemistry.
