Gary Coleman, who rose to the limelight for his role as Arnold Jackson in the sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, passed away at the young age of 42 from a brain hemorrhage after a tragic fall off the stairs of his home in Santaquin, Utah.
Although the official police report about his demise ruled out foul play, some of his friends in a new Peacock documentary, GARY, have fingered Coleman’s ex-wife, Shannon Price, as being responsible for the actor’s passing. In a new development, Gary Coleman’s ex-wife has cleared the air about the allegations that have been leveled against her.
Gary Coleman’s ex-wife denies any involvement in her ex-husband’s death
Speaking in an interview with Inside Edition, the ex-wife of the late Gary Coleman spoke for the first time about the events surrounding his tragic death. She addressed allegations made by Coleman’s loved ones, who accused her of playing a role in his demise, denying any involvement while insisting she was not responsible for his death in any way.
Price also described how she discovered the late actor lying in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor. Coleman’s ex-wife explained that she immediately tried to help him but found the situation overwhelming and beyond her control; thus, she could not really do much.
Gary Coleman’s loved ones remain unconvinced about Shannon Price’s insistence on her innocence
The accusations against Gary Coleman’s ex-wife are not totally unfounded, as the late actor’s loved ones continue to question Price’s actions in the wake of the tragic event.
Coleman’s friends believe that Gary Coleman’s ex-wife’s history of conflict with him, especially with their short-lived marriage, which was marred by allegations of domestic violence, leading Coleman to obtain a restraining order against her, was worthy of consideration.
They explained that this, coupled with her decision not to accompany him to the hospital on the night of the accident and the subsequent sale of a deathbed photograph of the late Silverspoon actor, all point to her involvement in his death. The friends also claimed that pulling Coleman off life support, which they argued was against the deceased’s wishes, further confirms her role despite her continued insistence on her innocence.
