After nearly eight years away from the screen, the Robertson family will resume their family show again. And for fans of the original series, this return is a nostalgic homecoming. A&E recently announced the comeback of the series with Duck Dynasty: The Revival and it will premiere in the summer of 2025.
Duck Dynasty first aired from 2012 to 2017 and captured the hearts of many with its humor, family values, and Christian faith. However, this season will focus on the lives of Willie Robertson, his wife Korie, their children, and their growing family as they go through life and experience new challenges while staying true to their faith and values.

Their daughter, Sadie Robertson Huff, shared her excitement on Instagram, teasing fans about looking forward to what has changed in the family. This season will, however, be about Willie and Korie Robertson, their adult children John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca, and their grandchildren. Miss Kay and Uncle Si will also appear in it, but family friend John Godwin will not be returning, as he recently retired.
Phil Robertson’s absence and health struggles
Phil Robertson will be absent from Duck Dynasty: The Revival even though he is the head of the family and an important part of the series. The 78-year-old star has been battling some serious health challenges, including early-onset Alzheimer’s disease and a blood disorder that has caused mini-strokes.
Despite Phil’s absence from the new series, the Robertson family holds him in esteem and continues to care for him. Willie added that his mother has also been dealing with her own health challenges after breaking her foot last summer. However, he reassured fans that their parents are always supporting one another.
