After almost eight years, Duck Dynasty is making a highly anticipated comeback. The original series, which debuted in 2012 and ran until 2017, followed the lives of the Robertson family as they managed their duck-call manufacturing business, Duck Commander. Phil and Kay Robertson, their sons Jase, Willie, and Jep, plus several grandchildren and employees charmed viewers at the time and are set to do so again.
A&E has confirmed that Duck Dynasty: The Revival will premiere in the summer of 2025, featuring new stories and beloved cast members. Since its finale, the Robertson family has expanded, with younger cast members like Sadie and John Luke building families and careers of their own. Though spin-offs like Going Si-Ral and At Home with the Robertsons kept fans connected, the revival promises a fresh perspective on their ever-evolving lives.

Fans will see John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, and Rebecca share glimpses of their lives as they tackle marriage, parenthood, and their growing businesses. A&E has already committed to 20 one-hour episodes, split across two seasons, that will delve into the Robertson family’s efforts to preserve the legacy of Duck Commander.
How successful was the original series of ‘Duck Dynasty?’
The original Duck Dynasty performed impressively and was arguably a cultural phenomenon. At its peak in 2013, over 11.8 million viewers tuned in for the season four premiere, earning it the title of the most-watched nonfiction series telecast in television history.
The Robertson family’s brand also generated massive revenue running into hundreds of millions of dollars from merchandise and endorsements. Products ranging from apparel to home goods bore the Duck Dynasty name, further cementing its influence in pop culture. More recently, Phil has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and the revival will continue despite the diagnosis.
