Jack Nicholson’s daughter, Lorraine Nicholson, shared some holiday pictures featuring her loved ones, including her father, on social media. She posted a carousel of ten slides; however, one, in particular, caught the attention of her followers, as it showed Lorraine and Jack with their arms wrapped around each other.
Jack was last seen on television in 2010 when he starred in the romantic comedy How Do You Know, and his most recent public appearance was at a playoff game he attended with one of his sons in 2023. Considering how long it has been since fans saw him, it was no surprise that the photo brought a wave of excitement.

Fans gushed at Jack’s appearance and thanked Lorraine for giving them a glimpse of their favorite actor. “HE IS ONE OF THE BEST ACTOR. I ENJOY EVERY FILM OF HIM. BLESSINGS,” someone exclaimed, while another called him “the man, the myth and the legend.”
Others did not fail to point out how great an actor Jack is, how much they miss him and would love to see him on their screens again. “Jack you are missed, but retirement seems to be agreeing with you,” a second fan conceded, while another said he looks great at 87. “Hope he reads this and knows how great everybody thinks he still is,” they added.

Nicholson’s career spanned five decades, and in that time, he appeared in blockbusters like Easy Rider, Five Easy Pieces, The Last Detail, and Chinatown, all of which earned him Oscar nominations, and directed Drive, He Said, Goin’ South, and The Two Jakes.
Jack is one of the only three actors with up to three Academy awards while holding the record for the most nominated male actor in the Oscar’s history. Although not officially retired, he has been away from sets for over a decade to live a quieter life.
