Tom Cruise’s daughter, Suri Cruise, was seen strolling in New York City while wearing a stylish ‘90s-themed outfit. The 17-year-old caught the eye of news outlets and fans who took to social media with compliments. “She has great style,” someone gushed.
People also noticed the uncanny resemblance Suri bears with her famous father, who was recently seen flying a helicopter to set for the upcoming Mission Impossible installment. “You guys keep saying she looks like Kate. She’s Tom’s spitting image,” someone said, referring to Suri’s mom, Katie Holmes.

Page Six posted the picture of Katie and Suri walking by with the caption, “#KatieHolmes and her doppelgänger daughter, Suri Cruise, popped out for a cheerful stroll in New York City on Monday. The Dawson’s Creek alum, 45, and the 17-year-old looked strikingly alike as they walked side by side in the buzzy Soho neighborhood with smiles on their faces.”

An Instagram user called Suri, “Tom’s spitting image,” and many others agreed. “I see nothing but Dad in her face,” another added. Some people disputed this and agreed with the outlet’s note, saying Suri looks more like Katie. “Katie saved that kid! Nice job, Mom!” a fan said; however, another maintained a middle ground, saying, “When she was little, she looked like Katie, but she grew up and looked just like her father.”
Tom and Katie welcomed their first child together in 2006, in addition to Tom’s children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Tom is known to many as an excellent stuntman and A-list Hollywood star, but Suri is “able to depend on [Tom] me for anything.”
“My whole life, I always wanted to be a father. I don’t believe you can spoil a child with too much love. You can never give a child too much love,” Tom shared. “There’s just no way.”
Suri has grown to become a singer with credits in movies like her mother’s Alone Together, where she sang “Blue Moon” for the opening part, and the film Rare Objects. Thanks to Katie, she has opportunities to showcase her musical talent and be a part of creative processes. “I hope she always does something on my films. I always ask her,” the actress said.
