Matt LeBlanc was recently spotted running errands in Los Angeles amid news that he has transitioned from Hollywood to running a used car dealership. The 57-year-old was seen leaving a Ralph’s grocery store in San Fernando Valley with his shopping in both hands.
He wore a hoodie and a baseball cap over a pair of jeans as he strutted the street. Matt looked like he had put on more weight, and his eyebags were visible, indicating stress. Recent reports say the sitcom star has been negligent about his appearance since he is no longer active behind the cameras.

Matt’s last known appearance on screen was for the Friends reunion of 2021, which featured him and his co-star clique Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and the late Matthew Perry. Fans have wondered if the actor is officially retired due to his absence from movies and the public eye in the last few years.
Matt clarified that his hiatus from the entertainment scene is due to a lack of compelling offers; however, he is willing to come out of his shell for a worthy project. For now, Matt is focused on RPM Motorcars, which is based in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Sherman Oaks. He co-founded the exotic car company in 2020, shortly after hosting the automotive show Top Gear.
Matthew Perry’s death made Matt LeBlanc withdraw
Matt reportedly became more recluse since losing his friend and co-star Matthew Perry to a drug overdose last year. The tragic loss forced Matt to rethink life and pursue other interests rather than stay stuck in a box as an actor.
Despite being off social media for the most part, Matt resurfaced on Instagram to pay tribute to Perry. He posted a few throwback photos of them on the set of Friends, including a couple of scenes where they hugged. “I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never,” he wrote to his late co-star.
