Demi Moore hosted a soirée for the holidays with her celebrity friends, including fellow Brat Pack member Molly Ringwald, on the guest list. She shared photos from the event to her Instagram, featuring other attendees like Tony Goldwyn, Ralph Macchio, and Chloe Sevigny.
Demi’s beloved chihuahua Pilaf was also at the party, and he got to meet Molly’s little pooch. “Ringing in the holiday season with reunions of all sorts! Pilaf and I had the best time celebrating with old and new friends,” her caption read.
The Brat Pack has another reunion
Months ago, the Brat Pack reunited for a documentary by Andrew McCarthy, where they spoke about their collective identity in retrospect. Although Molly did not partake in the film, Andrew added archival footage of her to fill her place. Molly refused Andrew’s offer because she had no interest in the past.
Demi was present for the documentary; however, she admitted to being disappointed that Andrew did not put them in a room for the interviews, as he visited each person instead. Demi had a strong opinion about the Brat Pack, saying she hated the tag because it undermined their hard work.
Where is the Brat Pack now?
Most of the Brat Pack members—who were just a group of younger actors from the ‘80s—continued to pursue acting and have become big names in the industry. Demi recently got a Golden Globe nomination for her latest movie, The Substance, which also earned Best Screenplay, Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy, and Best Director nominations.
Aside from acting, Molly has explored writing, music, and, more recently, modeling as she made her runway debut for Batsheva during the New York Fashion Week this year. Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, and others are also excelling in their showbusiness careers four decades later.
