Taylor Fry was spotted in Los Angeles with her husband, and they stepped out to run errands. Taylor, who starred alongside Bruce Willis as his TV daughter Lucy McClane in Die Hard, looked unrecognizable as she strutted the streets in jean pants, a tucked-in green shirt, and a red handbag.
The 43-year-old had no makeup on and carried her fancy water bottle as she went about her day. Outlets captured rare shots of Taylor, who has been away from the spotlight for decades, while TV dad Bruce currently battles Frontotemporal Dementia.
What did Taylor Fry from ‘Die Hard’ do after the film?
After joining the likes of Bruce and Reginald VelJohnson, William Atherton, and the late Alan Rickman to make Die Hard, Taylor appeared in only two more movies before quitting her acting career. She worked with Bruce again in 1994’s North, where Scarlett Johansson made her acting debut at 9.
Taylor played a supporting part the following year in A Little Princess while making brief appearances in the series Get A Life, Eerie, Indiana, Roseanne, and Kirk, where she played Phoebe Hartman in the mid-90s. The whole time, Taylor was in Notre Dame High School but graduated in 1999.
Taylor Fry retired from acting early
Taylor furthered her studies at the University of Santa Barbara, California, and graduated in 2003, all while putting her acting career on the back burner. Meanwhile, co-star Bruce was forced to leave the entertainment industry after his FTD diagnosis, which affects his ability to remember, communicate, or even speak.
Taylor appears to enjoy her private life as she is nowhere to be found on social media. Although Die Hard is arguably Bruce and Taylor’s most famous film, it did not win any significant awards but was nominated for four Oscar categories—Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Effects Editing, and Best Visual Effects.
