It has been over two months since American Pickers star Frank Fritz died at 60 after suffering from Crohn’s disease and coming down with a stroke two years ago. His two-decade run on the TV series ended in 2020 after he underwent back surgery and never returned.
Fans are looking back in time as they deal with the loss and his last-ever pick on the show is making many tear up. His final episode titled “Burlesque Queen” has resurfaced online thanks to a fan who uploaded it to YouTube.
What was Frank Fritz’s last pick on ‘American Pickers’?
Frank’s last episode aired during the early period of the pandemic lockdown. In it, he and Mike Wolfe explored an abandoned Marina in Kansas City, Missouri. With his prowess and mastery of bargaining, Frank found valuable items worth thousands of dollars.
He got an old Philips 66 sign with a classic Kawasaki motorcycle, an old Mercury outboard motor logo sign, and a grandfather clock. “The late Frank Fritz dedicated his life to ‘picking’ through piles of dusty Americana in search of one-of-a-kind treasures,” the video description read.
