Hallie Kate Eisenberg was the adorable curly-haired girl from the Pepsi commercials of the ‘90s and early 2000s. She was famously known as “The Pepsi Girl,” due to her memorable appearances on and off the ads.
Kate became famous at six and got to collaborate with the likes of Aretha Franklin and Faith Hill. In one of her most beloved appearances, she stole the show by mimicking Vito Corleone’s voice from The Godfather. “You’ve insulted me and my entire family by offering me this,” she said in response to being given a Coke.
Where is the Pepsi girl now?
Kate has been out of the public eye for years, which is surprising for someone of her age, as most favor an obvious digital presence. The 31-year-old keeps her social media accounts private; however, she sometimes supports her brother Jesse Eisenberg by posting his movies.
Although she is mostly out of the spotlight, Kate can be found accompanying Jesse, an Oscar-nominated actor, to his events. She still has her curls and adorable dimples reminiscent of the little girl who could “sell a Pepsi better than anyone.”
Life after Pepsi fame
Thanks to Jesse, Kate pursued an acting career after her success with Pepsi. He took Kate with him to see an agent at the time, and she left with an offer, too. She made her debut with 1998’s Paulie, after which she appeared in productions like The Miracle Worker and How to Eat Fried Worms.
A decade later, she took a hiatus from the entertainment scene to pursue a degree in International Studies at the American University in Washington D.C. Katie made her return to Hollywood but as a producer, maintaining her low-key status. She worked as Jesse’s assistant on The Art of Self-Defense and did the short film Samantha’s Screenplay in 2019.
