Jay Leno was present at his latest show this week, despite having concerning injuries on his face, including a shut-eye, and a broken wrist. He did an interview with Inside Edition, where he claimed to have suffered a dangerous fall at the Hampton Inn near Pittsburgh.
Jay Leno narrated how he decided to take a shortcut down a hill while heading to dinner from his suite, leading to a bad fall that sent him tumbling 60 feet downhill. Fans are not buying his explanation this time, as they think he got beaten by a mob due to previous occurrences.
Fans believe Jay Leno got beaten up by a mob
This is one of Jay Leno’s many injuries as he was badly burned across his face, arms and chest last year while allegedly working on his classic cars, after which he got into another accident while riding a motorcycle, leading to multiple fractures.
According to concerned fans and social media users, these events are no coincidence, and Jay Leno is not telling the truth. They also believe his stay at a Hampton Inn is fishy, and he might be owing some mafia money due to his gambling addiction.
Social media reacts to Jay Leno’s injuries
The clip of Jay Leno showing his battered face went viral on social media, and fans did not hold back their thoughts on the matter. “Has a show in Pittsburgh but staying 30 miles out at a hampton inn? no car? walking a mile to a restaurant?” someone questioned, while another said nobody falls down a hill and looks that battered.
Many replied with utmost certainty that Jay Leno got beaten by a mob member, likely by a loan shark, while some were simply surprised he still performed after, indicating that he had to make money. “Take care of yourself Jay but know that something doesn’t sit right, be careful, whatever the cause,” a concerned fan quipped.
