Alec Baldwin Gets Shamed Online For His Unzipped Fly On ‘SNL’

Last weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live featured Alec Baldwin parodying Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and all went well until the acts came together for the traditional bow. Alec became the subject of ridicule on the internet right after he left his pant zipper open on TV.

Critics took to X— formerly Twitter, to shame the 66-year-old star, who stood beside host Charlie XCX during the embarrassing moment. He even applauded and waved at the audience, with no one warning him about his undone fly.

Fans of Saturday Night Live took to social media, mostly jesting about Alec’s accident, while some wondered why no one informed him. “Could someone not have told Alec Baldwin about his fly situation at the end of SNL?” someone asked. Some critiqued his performance, calling it boring and sharing tips on how he could do better next time.

The show’s creators also received backlash for featuring Alec on the show due to his alleged murder of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. “Alec Baldwin ended someone’s Life!! But that’s ok SNL? Wowwwww absolute TRASH! I see why the ratings are FAILING so bad,” a second user raged.

Fans call out ‘SNL’ and Alec Baldwin over controversial act

Alec’s impression of Kennedy Jr. involved acting out his disability, and fans found that distasteful. “You all should be ashamed of making fun of RFK or Anyone’s Disability! SNL is no longer funny,  simply a public outlet to Promote Hate, Bullying, the Woke Agenda,” another displeased viewer noted.

A handful of fans found the episode hilarious and commended Charlie for his excellent delivery as host. They also thought Alec was funny and excused his nearly exposed crotch as an honest mistake. “Tonight’s episode was absolutely brilliant. Five stars!” a rare comment read.
