Chelsea O’Donnell is no stranger to controversies as she is yet again “in the news” for being arrested on four felony counts of drug trafficking, child neglect, and possession of THC and methamphetamine. The 27-year-old’s recent woes started when she called 911 on September 10, and a female in the background was heard saying, “Get away from me.”
She changed tune when the police got to her home, saying nothing was wrong. However, the officer wrote in the report that they had been “at her house for a similar incident” a few weeks before, so they knew she was lying through her teeth.
How was Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter arrested?
Chelsea later told the officers that what they heard was an argument she was having with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund. The lovers were noted to have had dilated pupils, and Jacob did not react to “any sort of light.”
The police found methamphetamine residue in her meth pipe and was arrested while being detained in the patrol car, the officer noted they noticed she was struggling with removing something from her “butt area.” However, she stated it was the handcuffs that was making her uncomfortable. Chelsea later brought out a black vial from her bra, which was later confirmed to contain 18.050 grams of meth.
What happened to Chelsea O’Donnell’s child?
The police described the house Chelsea lived in as “disgusting” with “horrible” living conditions. Used gem bags and a digital scale were found under a baby crib. Child Protective Services had to step in and place her one-year-old son, Atlas, in the care of her boyfriend’s friend. The mother of four was arrested and later bailed out on bond.

Unfortunately, she had another run-in with law enforcement a few weeks later while she was driving. While the police were questioning her about her whereabouts, she attempted to throw a meth pipe into the river. Sadly, Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter was arrested and jailed as Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Morphine Sulfate pills were found in her bra.
As a show of support, Rosie posted a picture of Chelsea with a newborn from when the times were good and prayed she would find “her way out of this deadly disease.”
