Sylvester Stallone’s second daughter of three, Sistine, discussed her scary experience on the streets of New York during a recent episode of her Unwaxed podcast. She told her older sister Sophia of how a stranger assaulted her and then followed her past three blocks.
The stranger in question was some guy on a bike who kept swearing at Sistine as she walked and pushing past the crowd to keep following her. She was able to ignore him for the most part until he put his hands on her, making her feel even more threatened.
Sistine Stallone had to run from the stranger
Once Sistine started to freak out, the stranger began screaming at her, and she took to her heels, seeking where to hide. Thankfully, she ran into a Sephora store and hid behind one of the counters until she felt safe again. Contrary to her assumption, the madman had followed her into the makeup shop.
On seeing her, the stranger began yelling at her and telling her she could never hide from him. It took five employees to drive the screaming man back into the streets, and then the police arrived to take him away. Terrified by what happened, Sistine spent another 15 minutes behind the store to recover from the shock.
Sistine Stallone gives women some advice
Sistine left some advice for the women listening, asking them to be alert while walking on the streets and avoid wearing headphones or looking down. Her fans responded to the snippet posted to Instagram and empathized with her over the incident. “NYC has some scary angry people,” someone noted.
Another noted that women also have to look out for each other and thanked Sistine for sharing her experience. “Listening to this hurt my heart. Sistine, I’m just thanking God you’re OK…it’s a crazy world and we have to be vigilant! Be safe in that big city beautiful girl!” they added.
