John Travolta was spotted leaving his hotel in New York City on what was supposed to be his ex-wife Kelly Preston’s birthday. Beside him was their 24-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, who wore a black hoodie and leggings as they strutted out together.
Father and daughter looked quite sad as they attended to clamoring fans, with John signing autographs and looking up for a few photos. He also opted for a casual look, throwing in a necklace on his turtleneck top and jean pants.

Kelly died in 2020 after suffering breast cancer for a few years, and life has not been the same for John and Ella ever since. They are remembering the late actress this year amid dealing with post-hurricane effects in their Florida home. John and Ella had temporarily moved to New York while waiting for the hurricane to pass.
The recent category 3 storm, Hurricane Milton, affected John’s $10 million property in Ocala, Florida, where he lived with his late wife and raised their kids, including Ella. There, John had his special stone-floored room for dancing, which he termed the adult playroom.
Tribute to Kelly Preston
To honor her late mother, Ella released a single, “Little Bird,” weeks ago, describing it as her way of communicating her feelings since processing the loss. She also took a throwback photo of Kelly to Instagram, featuring her in a sheer black dress with a white collar and her blonde hair flowing in the wind.
She simply wished the actress a happy 61st posthumous birthday, and fans joined her to pay tribute in the comments. “Always in your heart Ella, thinking of you all with love,” someone wrote. “Beautiful angel…she is always with you. Big big hugs to your beautiful family on this special day,” another quipped.
