Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell have been a quintessential conservation power couple since their marriage in 2020, spreading educational and wholesome messages with their respective social media platforms. But recently, Powell shared a photo on Instagram that is positively dirty.
The story between Powell and Bindi, the daughter of the late Steve Irwin, began when they first met at the Australia Zoo back in 2013. They became formally engaged in the summer of 2019 and tied the knot the following spring in an intimate ceremony at the zoo that first enabled them to cross paths. Exactly a year later, on March 25, they welcomed baby Grace Warrior into the world. But things are definitely not always squeaky clean for this family, especially in Chandler’s latest photo that has fans stunned.

On July 31, Chandler took to social media to share some exciting news. “The Australia Zoo Crocodile Research Trip is officially here!” he announced. “We’ll be spending the next month on the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve tracking crocodiles to learn more about them.”

He went on to gush, “It is such an honor to be part of this incredible, important work Check out this dinosaur foot.” Indeed, crocodiles—like sharks—have the distinction of being around for hundreds of millions of years. To this day, humans do walk, or swim among dinosaurs.
Accompanying his post is a striking photo of his own hand covered in grime, dirt caking even his watch and wedding ring. It is seen laid atop a crocodile foot that looks simultaneously equally dirty yet pristine—and very powerful and very large. The composition and contrast going on in the photo has fans shocked and offering abundant praise for Chandler and his own.
Something fans can support
Many of Chandler’s followers were struck by the sheer size of the reptilian creature’s foot, with some marveling, “Gosh that’s massive” and “That’s huge!” In fact, the scale was so striking, one user thought the leg belonged to a dragon and commented, “I thought this was a Game of Thrones promo.”
Others still were delighted by the dedicated work Chandler has been attending to. “Absolutely beautiful love this photograph. One of world’s most misunderstood creatures are the crocodilians and alligators,” one follower wrote, “so smart and intelligent”

On top of his passion for the Australia Zoo and all the establishment does, Chandler is also a dedicated family man. “The happiest moments are spent with my girls,” he has also said in sweet photos with his wife and daughter. “Here’s to more memories like this.” Sentiments like this also have Chandler’s fans gushing, “The love & happiness in your eyes & smiles makes my heart burst.” Another commented, “Love it!
