Actor Alec Baldwin is adding a new kind of entertainment to his filmography. It was recently announced that Baldwin would be the focus of a reality show, joined by his wife of 12 years Hilaria, along with the seven children they share.
As a father of eight children in total, Baldwin’s first kid is fellow actor Ireland, who he shares with his first wife Kim Basinger. Baldwin and Hilaria share Carmen, 10, Rafael, 8, Leonardo, 7, Romeo, 5, Eduardo, 3, Maria, 3, and Iliaria, 19 months.

The new program is a reality TV series that will premiere on TLC in 2025. Baldwin first teased the new program with an Instagram post captioned, “We’ve got an exciting announcement to share! Coming in 2025.”

The post is accompanied by a video offering Baldwin’s 2.5 million Instagram followers a teaser of what’s to come. While seated on the couch beside Hilaria, Baldwin lightly mentions having more kids. At this, Hilaria asserts, “Definitely, not…we’re done having kids.” She continues, “This is about our show.”
“We’re inviting you into our home, the ups and downs, the wild and the crazy. Home is the place we love to be the most.” Baldwin adds.
Catching up with the Baldwin family
“Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have been making headlines since they were married nearly 12 years ago,” a release reads. “In this TLC follow-doc series, Alec and Hilaria invite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing kids. For the first time, they’re opening up their family lives and bringing everyone in to join in the non-stop love, laughter and drama”
Baldwin’s film credits just slightly eclipse his television ones, though he has a prominent presence on the small screen, and has appeared in several documentaries.
One includes Shock & Sadness, which follows the events surrounding the fatal Rust shooting that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021. In the past, Baldwin has been defensive about his privacy, going so far as to reportedly assault a photographer for taping Basinger and their child back when their daughter was just three. Because of Baldwin’s involvement in the deadly Rust shooting, his appearance in this upcoming reality show has drawn criticism for Baldwin. “Gotta clean up that image after that incident with the prop gun, that’s the only reason you bring the kids out,” suggested one Twitter user. “I never even knew bro had this many kids until now lmao.”
