Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green in the iconic TV series Friends, was recently spotted in Los Angeles for the first time since the unfortunate passing of her co-star and friend, Matthew Perry. Sources close to the actress claim that she has been struggling with Perry’s death.
“Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courtney [Cox] are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely,” the insider noted. “It’s a second massive loss in less than a year, with the first anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner, [Aniston] still hasn’t fully regained her footing from that, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet.”
Aniston’s recent appearance was at an event in West Hollywood dedicated to celebrating the success of her hit Apple TV+ streaming series, The Morning Show, which garnered six nominations at the Critics’ Choice Awards. At the event, she was spotted rocking a black strapless jumpsuit as she departed the exclusive San Vincente Bungalows, a prestigious private club, alongside her co-star, Holland Taylor.
However, despite the elegance of her all-black ensemble, keen observers couldn’t help but notice the subtle signs of aging on the former Friends star’s face. Notably, her makeup fell short of concealing the emerging wrinkles, and the presence of under-eye bags drew attention from fans.
Aniston’s appearance has sparked up a debate among her fans, with some claiming that the wrinkles were due to her continued grief for the late Perry. “Grieving ages you so much. It really looks like she aged 10 years after her dad‘s and Matthew Perry’s death,” a fan commented, while another one stated, “I can’t stand her one pained expression. Lighten up.”
Some other fans had it in for the actress as they stated that her plastic surgery procedures, rather than grief, were responsible for her looks. “I hope she stops messing with her face.
