“I played basketball that afternoon, trying to calm down, and then I was driving. I was saying stuff out loud and trying to, you know, make sure I hit all of the right things so she would remember nice stuff, and I did all right,” he recalled. “She called her grandmother right after and her mother, and they all said, ‘Yeah, I heard the applause over the phone.'”

Sadie Sandler
Adam and Jackie became parents when they welcomed their first daughter, Sadie, in May 2006. The 17-year-old is following in her famous dad’s footsteps as she has appeared in some of her father’s movies, such as You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, and Bedtime Stories, released in 2008.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019, Sandler discussed the experience of witnessing his daughter’s journey into adulthood. “You know, I drive around with [her and] her friends, and I hear them talking about boys now,” he admitted. “It’s amazing, the feelings I had about the same boys five years ago. When they would mention the kid’s name, I’d be like, ‘I love that kid.’ Now, I get very jumpy.”
Sunny Sandler
The couple had their second daughter, Sunny, in November 2008. Like her elder sister, she has appeared in several of her dad’s movies, including Grown Ups, Blended, and Murder Mystery.
Sunny has been tapped to feature in Sandler’s upcoming Netflix film, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, with her older sibling, Sadie.
