Tattoo addict mom Melissa Sloan has cried out for help while discussing the challenges she’s faced in securing employment due to her heavily tattooed appearance. Her tattoos cover most of her body and face and feature bold designs ranging from Playboy bunnies, marijuana leaves, hearts, and spider webs.
Melissa, who hails from Knighton in Powys, shared that her tattoos serve as a means of self-expression for her, and she intends to continue getting inked until she reaches the age of 80, despite the curious glances she receives from people.

The 45-year-old also revealed that she gets inked at any time she feels like it due to her boyfriend, who is an expert at it. “I carry the [tattoo] gun around with me in the boot,” she admitted. “I’ll get one in the car or anywhere. My boyfriend does them, he does my tattoos prison style.”
Tattoo addict mom says she can’t find a job
The tattoo addict added that even though she had worked before, she now finds it difficult to secure any employment. “I can’t get a job. They won’t have me. I applied for a job cleaning toilets where I live and they won’t have me because of my tattoos. The first job I had was cleaning ages ago, cleaning toilets,” Melissa told Daily Star. “People have said I have never had a job in my life, but I have had one once and it didn’t last long.”
Melissa also confirmed her strong willingness to work and expressed her eagerness to accept any job offer that comes her way. “But, if someone offered me a job tomorrow, I would go and work,” she confessed. “I would take that offer. I expected this in life, I can’t fit in with people as I like to be me, and I’m always going to be myself. They don’t have to listen to me. But I’m not going anywhere.”
