Goop founder Gwyneth Paltrow previously caused a stir after revealing her diet: veggies, bone broth, and foods that “really calm the system down.” The 50-year-old actress recently posted a tour of her fridge on social media in response to curious fans.
The fully stocked fridge contained mostly drinks and skincare products, leaving fans wondering if she had another containing more nourishing food. “I’ve gotten a lot of questions about what’s in my fridge. I guess this is a trend that’s going around, so would you like to see what’s in my fridge?” Gwyneth said as she began the tour.

The actress claimed that she cleaned her fridge before the tour but that its contents are the usual stuff she stocks up on. She revealed a variety of milk, such as heavy cream, regular milk, almond milk, and half-and-half, with cartons of oat and macadamia nut milk in sight as well. “We span the spectrum of milks here in the old Paltrow-Martin house,” she said.

Gwyneth proceeded to a stash of snacks and drinks like coconut yogurt, coconut water for her 17-year-old son, and teas. Her fridge also contained sparkling water, tinctures, condiments, and skincare products. Gwyneth swears by refrigerating skincare and eye masks to “help with de-puffing.” “This is a new thing I started doing is moisturizer in the fridge,” she said.
The Emma star also showed plastic containers with leftovers like butter chicken, veggie burgers, and zucchini fritters in them, which she called “boyfriend breakfast.” Alongside these were eggs, beer, some wine, and gua sha. “So, that wraps up my fridge tour. Do you feel like you’ve gotten to know me any better?” she joked.
Reactions to Gwyneth’s fridge tour
There were varying reactions to Gwyneth’s fridge tour, mainly because the founder’s diet did not go down well with most of her fans in the past. “This looks like the drinks fridge at the Brentwood country mart,” someone joked. Another user felt inspired to clean up her fridge after watching the video. “Where do you keep the fresh veggies? Love the organized fridge,” they added.
Others assumed there must be another fridge containing more regular food, but knowing Gwyneth, that was not certain. Her diet was nicknamed the “starvation diet” or the “almond mom diet” by fans a while ago after she shared her “wellness routine.” Many thought Gwyneth glorified eating disorders, and her fridge tour further reinforced these controversies about her eating habits.
