Dolph Lundgren recently spoke to Fox News Digital about his experience working with Hollywood icons Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. He revealed that Stallone and Schwarzenegger have been in the industry and achieved great feats, which inspired him throughout his career.
“It’s amazing, especially those two guys, that they’re still so successful,” Lundgren told the news outlet. “And it’s just a great role model for me to try to get halfway to where they’ve been and be happy.”

Earlier in March, the 65-year-old and Schwarzenegger were spotted wearing sweatspants and working out together at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach. However, Lundgren clarified that despite the speculations making rounds about the workout, they are currently not working on any project together.

“That was for some podcast that we did in Venice. We don’t have any together,” Lundgren told Fox News Digital. “Arnold, I, and Sly were in Expendables 4, which comes out in September.”

The actor disclosed that he loves exercising with Schwarzenegger. Also, during the interview, Lundgren took a trip down memory lane and recalled a discussion between him and the Terminator star on their first workout together.
“He said to me it was 40 years ago that we first worked out together, and he was right, it was 1983,” he told the news outlet. “I was not in the film business, and I was going out with a singer, Grace Jones, from New York and I came to the set of one of the Conan movies, and I met him there. I was a fighter at the time, and he was obviously a big movie star. So I’ve known him before I met Sly, actually.”
