This week, Schneider took to Facebook to mourn the loss of Allain and pay tribute to his late wife. His first post features photos of her and their clasped hands wearing wedding bands. “My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus,” he captioned the first post. “Please respect our privacy during this time of grief. Please do not ask any questions.” He also called upon his Dukes of Hazzard fans to “hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.”

Later on Thursday, Schneider shared a photo of him holding Allain in his arms. “This is a time of unimaginable sorrow for me,” he revealed in the follow-up post. “Grief is much too small a word. I’ve heard ot said that “with great love comes great sorrow.” I had no idea what that meant until now.”
The powerful fighting force between Alicia Allain and John Schneider
“Alicia was the fuel that ran my biggest dreams,” Schneider said of his wife. “The inspiration behind every creative thought. The very fabric of my soul. The glue that held me together. I miss her more than any words could possibly describe.” The two started dating back in 2015 and together they produced films and music, generating over 100 songs together.
Throughout the later years of her career, Allain was also transparent about her battle with cancer. “This past Memorial Day I was diagnosed with stage 4 HER2 negative cancer,” she revealed back in 2020, even sharing that she’d been told she had years to live. She was met with an outpouring of support that Schneider assures she appreciated greatly. “She loved you all and spoke of how dedicated and loyal you have been all these years and I love you right along with her,” he shared. The breast cancer had progressed and manifested on her skin, leading to the more grave prognosis.
Rest in peace, Alicia Allain.
