‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ Star John Schneider Claims Someone Stole His General Lee Car After Wife’s Death

Among all the props featured in the 1979 American sitcom series, The Dukes of Hazzard, the General Lee stands out the most. The iconic car, a 1969 Dodge Charger, is instantly recognizable due to its bright orange paint, the Confederate battle flag painted on the roof, and the large “01” print on its doors.

Over the years, the car became a symbol of the show and has left a lasting impression on audiences and some of the show’s stars, such as John Schneider, who portrayed Bo Duke and reportedly owned several replicas. Recently, Schneider shared troubling news about the disappearance of his beloved General Lee and his effort to recover it.

John Schneider shares details on how he located his stolen ‘General Lee’

The 69-year-old recently took to Facebook to share an important update with his fans about his beloved General Lee car, which had been missing for several months. He explained that the car holds immense sentimental value for him, as it was a birthday gift from his late wife, Alicia Allain, who passed away in 2023.

Schneider claimed that after months of searching, he managed to track the car’s location when It appeared in a for-sale listing recently, giving him hope of recovering the cherished gift from his late wife. He also noted that he would give everything it takes to lay hold on his priced possession again.

After Schneider’s post on Facebook went viral, many of his supporters expressed solidarity in the comments section. They shared sympathy and encouragement while offering their support to the actor during this difficult time.
