Ken Jennings Made A Big Mistake While Hosting ‘Jeopardy!’ Recently

Ken Jennings has been sharing hosting duties with actress Mayim Bialik this year, after longtime Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek died in 2020. While Ken has been doing a great job as host and many fans enjoy watching him transition from champion to host of the game show, he is still human. In a recent episode, he made a big mistake.

Fans rushed to social media after Ken was heard cursing on the show after accidentally revealing the answer to a trivia question. In a clip now viral on social media, Ken says, “Forty, 23, 38, and 74, which is larger than all of them … ”

An off-screen voice yells, “You gave it away!” and Ken responds, “Oh, s–t!” This prompted the contestants and audience members to laugh. Ken has made a few other mistakes such as letting one contestant change their answer and then not letting another do the same.

Even though Ken is still learning the ropes, many fans loved the error and thought it was hilarious. While this week brought a laugh or two, it also brought some sad emotions as it was the second anniversary of Alex’s death from cancer.

The show paid tribute to Alex with a special category called “Remembering Alex Trebek” featuring trivia about the late game show host. May he rest in peace.
