The 34-year-old Rose Kennedy Schlossberg is the first grandchild and granddaughter to America’s 35th President, John F. Kennedy, and his First Lady, Jackie Kennedy. She is described by many as the spitting image of her maternal grandmother when it comes to looks. Rose was born in 1988 to Edwin Schlossberg and Caroline Kennedy — the first and only surviving child of the couple.
The former actress is also known for her apocalyptic web series, End Times Girls Club, which she co-launched in 2016 with Mara Nelson-Greenberg. The idea behind the series was survival, but portrayed in an amusing way. “It came up as a response to seeing the way that New York City responded to Hurricane Sandy and how people were grossly underprepared — specifically, girls in damsel in distress mode,” Schlossberg told Mashable. “I thought it would be interesting to create this world where girls have to be survivalists without compromising their cute factor.”
Out On The Beach
Rose, an elder sister to two siblings, was sighted at a beach in California, looking fit and active. The former actress was seen with a friend at a surf spot in Ventura, in large sunglasses and a baseball cap, which she later replaced with a bucket hat as she readied herself to have fun surfing at Seaside Park. With her hat on and the sun shades off, it was like seeing Jackie Kennedy from way back.

In 2016, the Daily Mail wrote that she possessed the “same brunette locks, delicate smile, wide-set eyes and slender frame” as her grandmother. “She has the dark eyebrows and wide set eyes, and that same wan smile that Jackie had. Rose has her quiet grace as well. It’s absolutely uncanny,” a beachgoer commented.
Surf-t Spot For Many
Surfers Point at Seaside Park in California is a local favorite for many celebrities like Rob Lowe and professional surfers like Kelly Slater and South African World champion Shaun Thompson, who made his home about 12 miles from the beach. Many other surfers waited for a good time to ride on the waves, and Rose headed where the ocean’s swells started while her friend found another area. Rose kept at it for over three hours, despite the wipeouts and usual surfing fails.
In May 2022, Rose married 31-year-old former filmmaker Rory McAuliffe, who is now a restaurateur. The wedding, which took place at their $1.2 million home in nearby Ojai, California, had 300 guests, which included Maria Shriver, former talk show host David Letterman, and Jimmy Buffet. Jason Segal, the How I Met Your Mother actor, who is the couple’s neighbor, was also in attendance. Ojai seems the perfect home spot for the couple, as Rose’s wife co-owns Rory’s place, an Ojai farm-to-table hot spot, along with her sister, chef Meave McAuliffe. Ojai is known and loved by its locals and tourists for its chill style and spas, golf courses, hiking, biking, boutique hotels, and eclectic restaurants.
“It’s a world away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles,” a local affirmed to Daily Mail.
