Zak Williams is paying tribute to his late father, Robin Williams, on what would’ve been the actor’s 71st birthday. Zak opted to remember his father the way he’d want to be remembered; for being the guy who simply wanted to make people smile. The 39-year-old posted an older photo of his dad, wearing a spandex bike suit and a helmet.
“Happy 71st Birthday Dad!” the post read. “Iโll be remembering you today as you would want to be remembered, in spandex. Miss you and love you always!”

Next month will mark eight whole years since we lost the actor to suicide, dying at age 63. Zak has often been very open about losing his father and how it impacted his mental health.
