Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have announced the sex of their second baby, which they announced the arrival of in a recent photoshoot. In a tell-all interview with Oprah, he reveals his reaction when he found out the sex, saying, “Amazing. Just grateful.”
“To have any child, any one or any two, would be amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for?” he continues. “Now we’ve got our family. We’ve got the four of us and our two dogs, and it’s great.”

Yes, the pair are bringing a girl into the family. After noting that the baby is due in the summertime, Markle added that they’re “Done, two is it,” after their baby girl arrives. The two are already mom and dad to son Archie, who will be 2 in May 2021.
In a statement on Valentine’s Day, a spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.” The news came along with a photo of the two posing happily together, showing Markle’s baby bump.

Buckingham Palace additionally released a statement following the exciting news, saying, “Her Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and the entire family are delighted and wish them well.”
The day after revealing the news of their second child, the pair revealed that they would be doing a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey about life as a Royal. This interview has aired, and was subsequently met with UK tabloid backlash as they hit back, mostly at Markle, for her comments. Many of the tabloid headlines called the interview “self-serving.”
