Model Paulina Porizkova's husband Ric Ocasek died last year. He was the frontman of the band the Cars. The two were married in 1989 but announced their separation in 2018. They had already been separated for about a year at that point. However, when Ric got sick they still lived in the same house together and Paulina took care of him in his final days. He died of hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. About a year after his death, Paulina has sold their once shared home. She opened up about the process and how she's still grieving in an emotional Instagram post. She also realized that she needed to take a break from social media for a while to continue the healing process. She wrote, "Last two days in my house. It’s empty, cold and dirty. I’ve never cried as much as I have in the last year. I was never a crier. In fact, the opposite. I took a lot of care NEVER to be seen crying. This year has shown me I had tears to spare.
