Chart-topping singer Dionne Warwick recently canceled an Illinois concert due to a health scare. Warwick, 82, was scheduled to perform at Rivers Casino Des Plaines near Chicago on June 24. Her representative told People that while the event was canceled, Warwick is already looking to reschedule and get back to performing. As a singer, Warwick's influence has shaped the music industry. She blended her creative interpretive skills with a unique, sultry voice and powerful delivery to become trailblazer with over 80 hit singles and numerous top 10 hits. No official diagnoses have been provided, but the initial problem did arise in one of her legs. However, Warwick has upcoming shows shortly before and after that June 24 date, including June 23 in Pennsylvania, August 9 in Delaware, August 11 in Kentucky, and two early September concerts in California. As for the June 24 date, the venue has offered ticketholders a refund and Warwick has voiced her desire to play that concert on a different date.
