Ella Travolta is celebrating her 24th birthday, and as she embarks on a new year of living, she’s embracing a new style for her hair. Much like her dad, Grease icon John Travolta, Ella has long bore a signature head of dark hair, usually kept long and flowing past her shoulders. That changed just ahead of her 24th birthday, with Ella shedding much of its length for a springy change. But that’s just a small piece of what’s been going on with the famous family lately. John Travolta shares Ella, along with 13-year-old son Benjamin, with fellow actor Kelly Preston. Tragically, Preston died when she was 57, having succumbed to cancer back in 2020. John has been working doubly hard to be a good dad and a shoulder for his kids to lean on as they navigate their grief and the major milestones in life. Fortunately, they have had cause for celebration, and reprieves from life’s typical tumult, along the way. What age is Ella Travolta? View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ella Bleu Travolta (@ella.bleu) Ella Travolta celebrated her 24th birthday on April 3, and ahead of the big day, she showed off a new look for her hair that’s unlike any style she’s had in quite some time. On the eve of the big day, she took to Instagram to show off a sunny selfie of her with a serene smile. Ella is dressed in black, matching her hair, but the atmosphere is warm and joyful, an upbeat prelude to summer tied together by her chin-length cut. Lee’s resume includes collaborating with Megan Fox, Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and more. Living alongside big Hollywood names like this is nothing new for Ella, who is indeed pursuing a career in the limelight. Despite being the daughter of two renowned actors, however, Ella is building a music career for herself. In fact, she’s already well on the path to artistic success. That was for their benefit before and especially after the untimely passing of their mother in 2020. In a 2021 interview with Esquire Mexico, Travolta said mourning Preston’s passing “has been a personal, private journey” for the devastated family; the family also grieves for the couple’s other son Jett, who died at 16 in January 2009. The two siblings have appeared more and more in the public eye as the years went on, however, Benjamin to a much lesser extent; his dad still proudly shows off his remarkable gymnastics skills when the occasion calls for it. Her feed is populated by tributes to her mom, heartwarming moments with the family, her dad being an unabashedly goofy gamer promoting God of War Ragnarok for the PlayStation, and her own latest projects and campaigns. For example, last winter she showed off a promo starring herself as one of the new faces for Silk Nextmilk. For this campaign, Ella also worked with Sailor Brinkley-Cook and Brooklyn Beckham to recreate their parents' original Got Milk? ads. She is already building her music career / YouTube screenshot After building experience with acting and modeling, Ella started focusing on music in earnest in 2021, though even then, she had already dipped her toes into the melodious world of music while working with her dad. In 2009, Ella and Travolta worked together on “Every Little Step,” which appeared in Old Dogs, starring Travolta and Robin Williams. Her first single, “Dizzy,” started as a TikTok challenge, and has since developed a loyal fanbase. The song, a collaboration with Just Seconds Apart, hit the airwaves in 2022. That same year, Ella also celebrated the release of “No thank you.” View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ella Bleu Travolta (@ella.bleu) All the pieces are falling into place for a reliable stream of success. No exposure to the Hollywood glamour has seen Ella anything less than appreciative and loving when it comes to her family. Indeed, Ella is diligent when it comes to sharing tributes to her loved ones, with Travolta’s 70th birthday on February 18 earning him a tribute that left not a single dry eye among readers. “Happy Birthday to the man who is always by my side and who is always bringing light and beauty into this world,” Ella had posted on Instagram, accompanied by an adorable photo of herself and Travolta from years ago, with her hair appearing not too differently from how long she has it now. Ella finished the sweet message with, “I love you to the moon and back.” There was only one thing Travolta could say in response: “And I always will be Ella my baby girl.” His baby girl, and a music artist who is managing some nostalgic ad campaigns, it should also be said!
