Salma Hayek recently posted a photo to Instagram that had her fans gushing about her and her 16-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault. In the shot, Hayek stood on the beach and appeared to be adjusting her black two-piece bikini while looking away from the camera.
The 57-year-old’s caption read, “It always helps to have a photographer in the family,” and she tagged Valentina right after. Hayek’s followers soon flooded her comments section, appreciating Valentina for the beautiful shot and Hayek for maintaining her stunning figure.

The post received over 356,000 likes and loads of kind comments, proving it was a delight for Hayek’s fans. “Always so beautiful, so real, sending you a hug from Argentina,” someone wrote. “Salma, you are so hot and gorgeous, I will always be a fan!” another assured, while a user praised Valentina for her skill. “Valentina is such an amazing photographer!!! Gooo girl,” they wrote. “Btw, the perfect combination is you with sea.”

The Frida star also got compliments for her “fit body,” which she claims to achieve by “restorative yoga” rather than working out. “People say it’s exercising. I think it’s meditation. You have to find your way. For me, exercising is hard,” she told Entertainment Tonight last year, adding that she does it every day and takes out time to “sit in a moment with yourself.”
Hayek became a mother in 2007 when she had Valentina— whom she shares with her business magnate husband, François-Henri Pinault. While Valentina is an only child, the screen goddess is also stepmother to Pinault’s three adult children, François, Mathilde, and Augustin. Interestingly, Hayek was in her forties when she had her child, and she has no regrets about taking her time.
For Hayek, she “had reached a place in my career where I’d done a lot of things” and felt ready for motherhood art 41. “I had my child so late in life. I was so excited to be a mother,” she admitted. Valentina, a Lana Del Ray fan, previously revealed that she plans to pursue an acting career. “I would like to be an actress and then a director because that’s what makes sense in my head,” she told Vogue Mexico in Spanish. “Also, I think it might be harder to be a director if you don’t have experience on the other side of the screen, that could help directing.”
