They never crossed paths on-screen, but Eve Plumb and Mindy Cohn have developed a friendship as sure as their places in sitcom history. Though The Brady Bunch and The Facts of Life have been over for years, very recently, these two sitcom stars hung out in New York City. What's more, this is not the first - and likely won't be the last - time these two see each other in the Big Apple. Plumb has called New York home for years and though Cohn is from the west coast, it's a time of excitement whenever she makes the trip across the country. Eve Plumb and Mindy Cohn spend time together in NYC In the early evening of May 16, Plumb, 64, shared a photo to her Facebook page. "Yay! I got to have lunch with pal @MindyCohn today!" she captioned the post, adding, "I love it when she visits NYC." The accompanying picture sees the two actors smiling side-by-side one another on the streets of New York, dressed for comfortable city travel in the spring weather. She reprised the role several times for all manner of Brady-themed events and programs. Meanwhile, anyone who hasn't seen Cohn, 55, as Natalie Green in The Facts of Life probably heard her as Velma for over ten years in Scooby-Doo. Jinkies! Their career trajectories didn't have these two really work together on-screen in any big way, but their similar fates allowed these two to cross paths enough to become fast friends. Special places with special meanings THE BRADY BUNCH, Eve Plumb, ABC-TV, 1969-1974 / Everett Collection In 1983, Plumb did appear in The Facts of Life, playing the role of Meg in "Best Sister: Parts 1 & 2." In that, she played the sister of Lisa Whelchel's character Blair. Meg also happens to be a nun and she inspires the character of Jo Polniaczek, played by Nancy McKeon, making for one powerful crossover. Most of that centers around New York. It was in 2010 that Plumb purchased a property in Manhattan and in 2019 NYC became her official base of operations. As for Cohn, she found solace staying in Sharon Springs, NY with the hosts of Fabulous Beekman Boys while battling and recovering from cancer. There, she says she found "my family by choice," so it seems the location houses a lot of people special to Cohn.
