Tom Cruise is unarguably a fan favorite action star due to his intense dedication, death-defying stunts, and blockbuster franchises. For over four decades, he has redefined the genre, putting audiences on the edge of their seats with high-octane thrills and a compelling storyline. Cruise first gained fame starring in dramas such as Risky Business and Top Gun, before he later transitioned into action movies with Days of Thunder, but it was his role as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible that cemented his status as an A-list action hero.

With his latest film, Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning, set to be released on Friday, the 62-year-old, in an interview, has shared insights into his future career plans.

During his appearance at the premiere of Mission: Impossible – Final Reckoning in New York City on Sunday night, the actor, while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, revealed his unwavering passion for acting, making it clear that he is not looking forward to retiring anytime soon. Instead, he’s more determined than ever to continue his career.

Cruise noted that he had initially aimed to keep making films well into his 80s to mirror the career of legendary actor Harrison Ford, but now he has set his sights even higher. The actor says he plans to continue working on his career even when he is a hundred years old.
