Mike Wolfe’s interest in bicycles extends beyond merely seeing them as modes of transport. They are an integral part of his personal style and interior decor. He has made it a habit over the years to imaginatively combine vintage bicycles in his living room, suspending them on walls to using them as centerpieces.
His fascination for selecting and restoring these two-wheel beauties is not foreign to die-hard fans of American Pickers. His recent Instagram post, however, has caused more concern than admiration among his fans who are asking themselves why he had landed himself in such a precarious position.

Wolfe shared the behind-the-scenes photos of his latest project for Two Lanes Guesthouse, a rental space he has been working on with his signature rustic and vintage aesthetic touch. He mentioned his years of incorporating bicycles into his work in his post.
He wrote about how he always had one hanging around his house. However, the risky location of his ladder as he carried out the installation was a source of concern as the image showed him leaning at a worrying height to secure the bike above a staircase.
Fans react to Mike Wolfe’s Instagram post
The second the post was up, his fans flooded the comments section with concerns and jokes while reminding him of the potential dangers involved in what he did. One fan light-heartedly wrote, “Not sure that ladder placement would be considered OSHA approved! But all the attics you’ve crawled around in probably prepared you well!”
Another commented, “OSHA called. They want their ladder back. Haha. I was more interested in how the ladder was positioned for next time I need to hang something cool in a sketchy spot.” Others were more sarcastic but still acknowledged the risk, as a third fan joked, saying, “OSHA? Never heard of her… Sketchy ladder work, but it looks like you handled it.”
