The NAACP Image Awards were created to recognize exceptional portrayals and accomplishments of people of color in literature, music, film, and television.
During the event, 64-year-old Damon Wayans expressed his sincere gratitude, highlighting the crucial role their parents played in their accomplishment. The award also included family members Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Craig Wayans, Chaunté Wayans, and Damien Wayans.
