However, by 2024, to the joy of fans and family, Foxx had recovered, and he celebrated his recovery with the release of his Netflix special, What Had Happened Was. The special was nominated for Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy at the Golden Globe Awards. Although he didn’t win, Foxx expressed that being at the event with his daughters was his reward.

At the 2025 Golden Globes, Jamie Foxx and his daughters Anelise and Corinne turned heads with their coordinating red-carpet looks. Jamie, at 57, wore a black suit with beaded lapels and a floral detail at the collar. He completed the look with a black sunglasses. His daughters were equally stunning: Anelise, 16, wore a double-breasted white blazer with black trim and black trousers, while Corinne, 30, stood out in a black gown with an embellished bodice and a bold slit.
Foxx had previously shared how his daughters were a huge support and help to him while he was in the hospital. The family’s appearance provided support and strength to Jamie Foxx. At the event, Anelise and Corinne looked confident, standing by their father’s side.
