Robin Williams was renowned for his exceptional comedic prowess and boundless energy, which earned him fame and admiration in the entertainment industry. The duo took to social media to pay tribute to their late father and honor his lasting legacy. “Happy 72nd, Dad! Was remembering how much I used to love that look you’d give. That look with a mischievous, loving grin that your friends and loved ones knew so well. Joyous and curious and wondrous,” Zachary wrote in the caption alongside a throwback picture of his father wearing headphones and smiling. “Miss you and love you forever!”

Zelda also noted that if her dad were still alive, he would have stood in solidarity with the Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) and the Screen Actors Guild during their ongoing strikes, as he was an ardent supporter of the organizations. “Happy birthday to Poppo,” she tweeted while posting a snap of Williams during a 2007 strike holding up a sign with the words, ‘WGA ON STRIKE,’ “who definitely would’ve been out there fighting the good fight for art and artists today and always.”
