Bing Crosby was a big name in the ‘40s and after and was well known for his hit holiday song “White Christmas” and movies like Going My Way, for which he won an Oscar for Best Actor. Aside from his flourishing entertainment career, Bing was also a dedicated family man.
He had seven children from two marriages—his first wife, Dixie Lee, with whom he had four sons before she died of ovarian cancer in 1952, and his second, Kathryn Grant, who bore his last three kids. Most of Bing’s children opted for an entertainment career, except for his last, who excels at sports.

Bing and Dixie welcomed Gary in 1933, and he was a part of the brother band The Crosby Boys until he left in 1959. He moved on to an acting career and released a controversial autobiography in the early ‘80s, accusing Bing of being an abusive father. His younger brother Dennis also had credits in a few movies but was found dead in 1991, with the police ruling his death as a suicide.
Bing and Dixie’s third son Phillip was also an entertainer, and unlike Gary, he denied the allegations of abuse against Bing, noting that he never treated them beyond what was necessary. Dixie’s youngest, Lindsay, suffered a similar fate as Dennis, as he was found dead in his Calabasas home in 1951, and his death was deemed suicide.

Harry Lillis accompanied Bing on several Christmas shows since he was 6 and pursued an acting career as an adult. He is now an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and a partner at Cranemere and Snow Phipps. Every year, Harry and his kids play “White Christmas” during the holiday to honor Bing.
Harry’s younger sister Mary simply went for an acting career and has credits in soaps like Dallas and Beverly Hills, 90210. 63-year-old Nathaniel went for a sports career and is an accomplished golfer. He is also the founder and president of AppleTree Management Group and a father of six.
