Bob Saget died from blunt trauma to the head in January 2022, and his demise was a shock to his co-stars, loved ones, and fans, including those who attended his I Don’t Do Negative tour show the day before. Nearly three years later, his Full House castmate Lori Loughlin says she still visits his grave.
Lori graced Dave Couiler’s Full House Rewind podcast in March and admitted to missing their long-gone co-star Saget. The 60-year-old was playing golf with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli when she heard the news and immediately collapsed.
Lori Loughlin visits Bob Saget’s grave
Lori noted that her volunteer group for Project Angel Food delivers to people not too far from the cemetery, and she always takes the chance to go see Saget with flowers. She once visited and sent a photo to Saget’s widow, Kelly Rizzo.
Rizzo, who had dropped three yellow tulips on amid Lori’s many flowers, was pleased as they bonded over their affection for their lost loved one. Lori also recalled watching a Dave Chappelle show and breaking down in tears after the comedian mentioned Saget with a photo of him projected.
Life without Bob Saget
Lori is not the only Full House star who badly misses Saget, as the late star was an impactful friend to most. A few months ago, John Stamos admitted to listening to Saget’s audiobook— Dirty Daddy: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy every night as a way to connect with him, despite hating the book at first.
He recalled a part of the book where Saget joked about hitting his head and calling TMZ to say he was dying, which, in retrospect, is an eerie remark. Saget is survived by Rizzo and three daughters, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer—whom he shares with his ex-wife Sherri.
