Four decades after their show, Who’s the Boss?, the onscreen father and daughter prove that their bond is still strong. Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano reunited happily at Danza’s “Sinatra & Stories” show at the Carlyle Cafe in Manhattan, New York City. This reunion happened a few days after the 40th anniversary of Who’s the Boss? premiere.
Milano shared a heartwarming photo with Danza. In her caption, she referred to Danza as her “Forever TV dad.” She continued in the Instagram post, “I got to see him last week perform his show at Café Carlyle. He sang, played his uke, and danced. And damn… I’m so blessed to witness the joy that emanates off him when he performs.” Milano signed off, “Love you, T.”

Danza also responded with a comment, “My forever [TV] daughter. Love you [Alyssa Milano], and thank you for coming to my show. Can’t wait to see you in [Chicago] on Broadway!!!!!” Fans also gushed over the pictures posted on social media, an Instagram user commented, “It’s fantastic to see you two together” while another expressed love for them, “I love this and I love u two.”
Some fans also took the opportunity to ask for a reboot of the show. This is not a strange request, as so many other ’90s shows have been revived.
Will there be a ‘Who’s The Boss?’ revival?
In 2022, there was news of a Who’s the Boss? revival after Milano shared a post of her and her co-stars Danny Pintauro and Rhoda Gemignani at Danza’s live show in Los Angeles. Under that post, Milano captioned it, “Getting closer. If you know what I mean,” and that led fans on.
In November 2022, she told the hosts of The View that a script had been submitted, and they were waiting to see if it would be approved. “So we’re very close,” she added. In May 2024, Milano confirmed that the revival is still in progress, and all that’s left is to find a home for the project. All hope is not lost yet; there might still be a Who’s the Boss? revival.
